I’ve been passionate about music and particularly guitar music since childhood. When I was eleven I got a classical guitar and had some lessons for a few months. But it was really after I bought my first electric guitar at sixteen that I became totally hooked and have not stopped playing since.
I played in various bands whilst at university and throughout my twenties. Now in my fifties my love for the guitar hasn’t diminished and I continually expand my knowledge and skills over a wide range of styles. I still practise every day!
Having already taught guitar in my spare time since my university days, in 2009 I decided to quit the rat race and start teaching guitar full time. I consider it a privilege to be able to do something that I love as my job!
